مصادفة جعلت من دابسي الالماني اشهر اللاعبين في النطاقات العربية
دابسي فريك عمره 45 عاما من فرانكفورت في المانيا يقول دابسي
ان دخوله عالم نطاقات الاي دي ان مجرد مصادفة بحتة فاثناء بداية العمل بالنطاقات
باللغة الالمانية في ربيع 2004 وقد كنت امتلك

وقد كنت اريد حماية النطاق من نطاقات مشابهة فحاولت تسجيل

وفعلا نجحت ففكرت ماذا لو حاولت مع الدوت كوم والدوت نت ايضا فقمت بالفعل بتسجيل
بعض النطاقات باللغة الفرنسية مثل

ثم فكرت ايضا ماذا لو حاولت مع نطاقات اخري غير الحروف اللاتينية فحاولت تسجيل عربي
عن طريق اني عملت كوبي وبيست اي نسخ ونقل للحروف وبالفعل نجح التسجيل ايضا وحصلت

يقول ايضا ان افضل الاسماء تتوصل اليها عن طريق البحث والخبرة ودائما ما كنت استخدم
ثلاثة قواميس مختلفة
وبسؤاله عن عدد النطاقات قال اننا اصحاب موقع

المهم التعرف علي الثقافة المحلية لكي تفهم السوق فكل سوق له خصوصيته ومن المهم
تفهم احتياجات المستخدم العربي قبل استخدام الادوات والقواميس ولا يجب ان يصابوا
الداخلين الجدد للسوق بالاحباط فلم ينتهي كل شيء بعد وتستطيع اكتشاف احجار كريمة

During the introduction of IDN’s in Germany (Spring 2004) and already owning www.algerie.de I just tried to register www.algérie.de (with accent) in order to protect the name and it worked!
I thought, what if it works at the .com and .net level? So I started to register premium French IDNs such as www.vidéothèque.com and www.itinéraire.com (itinerary). A few days later, the question was raised whether this can also apply to non-ASCII letters. So I just copied and pasted an Arabic word and tried to register it, and it worked! The first name was عربي.com (Arab/Arabic)
Top generic names are found through experienced research and intuition. Translation is always confirmed by at least 3 online dictionaries.
We (www.domainerie.eu) own about 1500 premium IDNs, of which 40 are Arabic.
Regarding Arab IDNs , we decided to keep only the golden ones such as:

I’m afraid, we already have the best Arabic IDNs but one of my dreams is to see a wider utilisation of IDN names through their incorporation into all browsers, including Internet Explorer.

According to today’s internet penetration in the Arab world (2,5%) we do not expect an explosion of internet users in this region on a short term basis, but with regards to market development and potential (Native Arabic speakers are about 300 million, comparable to the US in size) we see a lot of valuable transactions of Arabic domains very soon.
Based on our experience (And frustrations!) our advice is to concentrate on 3 criteria: quality, quality and quality. It is necessary to know the local culture in order to understand this market. Each market is specific, so it is essential to first understand the needs of Arab internet users and then use some tools and dictionaries. Newcomers should not give up, not all IDNs are taken and you can always discover some rare gems in this exploding market.
